VSNL TCP/IP Internet Installation Guide

So you've purchased your account with VSNL and want to know how to set it up. That is what this installation guide will explain.
Before we begin, check to see whether you fulfill the requirements. If you meet all of them, then you're practically installed. If you have Windows 3.1 or 3.11, instructions on installation are also available
To get started as easily as possible, aquiant yourself with the steps outlined at the left. When you feel ready, you can begin to actually get yourself installed. Note that this is not just a matter of installing software. If only it were that simple! But it isn't as tough as you might imagine. Just follow the steps carefully and you'll be fine. This guide will attempt to make your installation as easy as possible. It is written in a very non-technical format, and intended to get you connected now! The entire installation from start to finish shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes, depending on how much you may already have installed. At the end of the installation, you will be prompted to reboot.

To use this guide in any meaningful way, please check and see whether you meet ALL of the following requirements before going on
- Windows 95 installed
- Windows 95 installation media (CD or floppies)
- Modem installed
- Already purchased TCP/IP account with VSNL
- The correct VSNL access number
- Your username
- Your password
- Phone line
